Under the direction of the FHT Director, the Clerical Assistant/Program Assistant will provide vacation, and other relief, performing general clerical duties and provide clerical support for the Family Health Team Programs and staff.
Clerical Assistant back up is primarily responsible for performing reception duties, providing excellent customer service while answering the phone and greeting the public, booking, rescheduling or cancelling appointments for health care providers.
Program Assistant back up is primarily responsible for providing program support to health professionals, preparing samples and medical supplies for delivery to AGH, monitoring incoming scans for filing into patient charts.
- Experience working in an office setting, previous experience working in a health care setting an asset
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Adaptable and willing to learn in a changing environment
- All employees must provide proof of full Covid-19 vaccination (3 doses)
