Community Counselling & Addiction Services

The addictions program at Atikokan Community Counselling Services began in 1988. Individual, group, family and couples counselling is available through this program, as well as assessment and referral services.

Addiction services provided:

• Referrals to residential treatment
• Community-based Treatment
• Addictions Counselling
• Recovery Support

Counselling is client centered. Counselling philosophies include knowledge of the Twelve Step, Stages of Change and Cognitive Behavioural models.
