In Atikokan, swab results that we have gotten to date had been negative. However, we continue to assess and swab community members based on Public Health Guidelines.
There are 58 new cases reported today, March 21, in Ontario, bringing the cumulative total to 377 (including 6 resolved cases and 3 deaths). In Ontario, there are 7239 cases under investigation with lab results pending.
We continue to appeal to our community members to remain vigilant and maintain social distancing. This has been the recommended strategy to slow down the spread of COVID-19.
