“On this day it is important for us to reflect upon our country’s colonial past and colonial trauma that continues today…”
September 30th is the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Today we honour the lost children and Survivors of residential schools, their families and communities.
Today, AGH staff are encouraged to wear orange to show support (or are provided orange buttons). Staff will also will be participating in an organized Prayer, Smudging, Drumming and silent walk around the loop in front of AGH.
