JOB SUMMARY:

The Information Systems and Technology Lead ensures that AHCS information systems and technology strategies are met by managing all resources available; researching, developing and implementing technological solutions required at a local and regional level. This position provides network and system administration and information systems support throughout the Hospital, and will be responsible for project management. The Information Systems and Technology Lead reports directly to the Chief Financial and Corporate Services Officer.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Possess an undergraduate or college degree in related field; Computer Science, Software Computer Engineering or Health Informatics
  • Have a minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience, network administration, IT technical support, software programming or other computer operations
  • Cybersecurity experience, as well as certificates in CompTIA A+, Security+, Network+, CCNA, etc. would be an asset
  • Experienced in Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Windows Server, Exchange), Databases MS-SQL and SharePoint, networking infrastructure, security, and protocols, server virtualization: Hyper-V, VMWare, Scale, software and network tools, helpdesk support and management, ITIL
  • Possess project management and team coordination skills
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and work with others
  • Be a self-directed individual with the ability to assume immediate responsibility
  • Be highly organized and possess time management skills
  • Demonstrate abilities in assertive judgement and problem solving
  • Be willing to self-learn new skills as the work environment changes and new technologies arise
  • Mandatory Covid-19 Vaccination
