Rate of Pay: $51.71– $63.56/hr

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), the Nurse Manager organizes and directs the work of the Acute Care, Emergency and Extended Care Wing Departments and is responsible for the effective delivery of patient and resident services. This role coordinates staff to assure that effective nursing services are provided and quality standards are met, in accordance with applicable legislation and Best Practice Guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS and PERSONAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Registered Nurse with current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Graduate with a BScN from an accredited post-secondary institution
  • Able to manage a diverse team of employees at multiple organizational levels while maintaining positive interpersonal relationships
  • Able to independently organize workload, establish priorities, delegate teaks, and hold team members accountable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as exemplary interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage operational, human resources, financial, program and service delivery activities
  • Excellent knowledge of various computer programs (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and internet use)
  • Additional training and experience (e.g.: OTN / Telemedicine, ACLS, TNCC) will be considered an asset
  • Mandatory Covid-19 vaccination
