JOB SUMMARY
Under the general direction of the Lead Hand and reporting to the Environment Services Manager, the Dietary Aide is responsible for providing meal preparation and delivery in a manner consistent with all regulations as specified by the Long-Term Care Homes Act and related acts.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Food Service Worker Program or willingness to obtain within 3 years of hire as outlined in the Training Requirements for Dietary Staff policy.
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
- Safe Food handler’s certification from local health unit or willingness to obtain.
- Previous food-handling experience and formal education is an asset.
