JOB SUMMARY

Under the general supervision of the Atikokan Community Counseling Manager, the Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks ensuring the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of the office.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven education and/or experience as an administrative assistant
  • General understanding of mental illness and addictions
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
  • Ability to respond to crisis situations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Mandatory COVID-19 vaccination
